VCC Email

All VCC students receive a College email account.  The Library will send the following notices via your College email accounts:

  • Ready for Pickup Notice - sent when an item you have requested is ready for pickup.
  • Reminder Notice - sent to remind you that items are due back in the library.
  • Overdue Notice - sent when items are overdue and fines are accruing.
  • Billed Notice - sent when an item has been overdue for 4 weeks.

To Access your VCC Email

firstname.lastname@student.vcc.ca
(example: joe.smith@student.vcc.ca)

First letter of firstname lastname@vcc.ca
(example: jsmith@vcc.ca) 
How to access your email
  1. Go to http://library.vcc.ca
  2. Click on the myVCC login (upper right)
  3. Login with you student ID number and your password (default is your birth date: MMDDYY)
  4. Select Email (left sidebar)
  5. Agree to the terms and conditions
  6. Click on Mail in the Use the online apps menu

To forward your VCC Email to your personal account 

  1. Login to your student email account
  2. Click on Mail in the top menu
  3. Click on  Outlook Settings icon (Settings) in the top right corner
  4. Type Forwarding on the Search all settings box 
  5. Click on Forwarding (under the results search)
  6. Click on Start Forwarding
  7. Enter your personal email in the box under Forward my email to:
  8. Click on Save to apply this change
  9. in the top menu (left corner), click on Mail to return to your mailbox
