You can borrow iPads from the Service desks at the Broadway and Downtown campus libraries.
Free computer access is available for all current VCC students and employees at the Broadway and Downtown campus libraries. Computers are available on a first come, first served basis.
Computers include various softwares such as Microsoft Office 2010. For a more complete list, please click here.
To login to your Library Account, myVCC, and the Library computers, use your student number and password. The first time you login, the password is set to your birth date.
If your birth date is January 23, 1980, enter: 012380 (MMDDYY).
For security reasons, we recommend changing your password after you first login. If you've forgotten your password, or your birth date isn't working, fill out the Password (PIN) reset form or come to the Library Service Desk.
Printers and Copiers
You can print (single or double-sided) from any computers at the Broadway and Downtown campus libraries. Colour printing is available.
Photocopying (single or double-sided) is available in three sizes: standard, legal or ledger.
Colour photocopying is available at the Student Union.

Scanners are available at the Broadway and Downtown campus libraries. There is no cost for scanning.
VHS, DVD and audio cassette players are available on a first come, first served basis in the Library. Headphones are attached to all the players.
Faculty and staff can book audiovisual equipment (such as data projectors, digital camcorders, computers on wheels, and teleconferencing units) by submitting the VCC Employee A/V Equipment Booking Form. Check our equipment catalogue for more information about the available items.
The VCC Wireless network is available at both campuses, 7 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Students and employees can use the wireless for free. Visitors can access the wireless for free for one hour by clicking on the "Free Connect" prompt.
Select VCC-Public as your wireless network. When you open a browser, you will be asked to log in.
VCC students: use your myVCC login (student number and password).
VCC employees: use your College login.
Eduroam (EDUcation ROAMing) is a wireless network available at participating colleges and universities in BC including VCC. To login, use your network login and password.
VCC students: your network login is your student number followed by @vcc.ca, for example: email@example.com. Your password is your myVCC password.
Printing is not available from the wireless network. There are computers in the Library and the Learning Centre that are connected to printers.
