The VCC Learning Centre provides tutoring support in the areas of study skills, math, English and sciences (biology, chemistry and physics) to review and reinforce what has been taught in class.
The Learning Centre assists VCC students in becoming competent, successful and independent learners in a respectful and positive environment.
Tutors can help current VCC students with their VCC coursework in math (including statistics and accounting), ESL, English and sciences (biology, chemistry and physics), study skills and resumes.
Drop by anytime your local centre is open to see a tutor - no appointment is necessary. At the Broadway campus, the tutors can help you for 10 minutes at a time. At the Downtown campus, you can drop in or make an appointment, and tutors can help you for up to 30 minutes at a time.
Before you see a tutor, please think about what you'd like help with. The tutor can help you best if you ask a specific question.
